About Michael
Director

As a military veteran, I served in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman for 9 1/2 years and then joined the Georgia Army National Guard as an Army Combat Medic to complete my 20 years of service. I served 4 combat tours, in 2003 I was a surgical Tech with 2nd FFSG Bravo Surgical Company. In 2005, I was assigned to 2nd Marine Group in Fallujah Iraq and then in 2006 I was with 2/8 Bravo company onboard the Whidbey Island in support of 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit. Then in 2009 and 2010, I was in Afghanistan with the Georgia Army National Guard. Although, I was never injured myself I treated many patients and never let myself heal from the mistakes that I made while deployed. I was medically separated in 2018 due to heart issues that were caused by PTSD. I know how military service can affect a person and their families and it has been a goal of mine to start a nonprofit to assist veterans in any way possible. I decided to start Veterans’ Relief Group, Inc to do just that. I have had many people help my family and I in the past and would like to pay that forward. Check out our services to see what this group can help with and contact us if you need anything or would like to help.

About Lara
Assistant Director

As a previous female veteran, I served in the US Navy for 5 years as a Hospital Corpsman and then became a full-time stay at home mom and military spouse. I learned a lot while serving our country but have learned so much more as a military spouse. I have had to deal with some things that no wife should have to deal with, but we have come out stronger on the other side. I would like to give back to veterans and their families, right alongside my husband Michael. We are here to help, so let us know how we can assist you or your family. And we are also looking for anyone else who may be interested in assisting veterans with us, you can also contact us, and we will answer your questions
